On May 15, 2026, a delegation of Odessa International University was in Chisinau with a visit, during which a strategic partnership agreement with USEM was signed. The signing of the agreement was attended by The Dean of the Faculty of Law and Economics - Тицька Яна Олександрівна, and the Head of the Department of Economics and International Economic Relations - Нестерова Катерина Сергіївна Кафедра, both representing the International University at the signing of the partnership, being empowered by the rector Kostyantyn Viktorovych Hromovenko. On behalf of the University of European Studies of Moldova, the signing of the agreement was attended by the Rector Sedletchi Iurie, First Vice-Rector Nicolae Sedlețchi, Vice-Rector for European Projects Aurel Băieșu, Vice-Rector for the Quality of Studies Catan Petru, Dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences Șargu Lilia.
Odessa International University (Ukraine) is a prestigious academic institution recognized for its multicultural programs and global orientation. We also mention that Odessa International University is a private higher education institution in Ukraine, focused on European education standards (Bologna System), just like the University of European Studies of Moldova.
This partnership represents an essential bridge between the academic environment of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, with the main objective of developing joint programs, facilitating internships for students and collaborations on scientific research in the region.
At the meeting there were also discussed the good practices of Odessa International University in attracting annually hundreds of international students from Europe, Asia and the Middle East, which will be a good basis for our future experience.
We are extremely excited about this collaboration with Odessa International University. In a globalized economy, success depends on the ability to bring together rigor for academic training.
